Dec 14, 2020 · As someone mentioned whenever the CEL light is on auto start/stop is disabled, as well as the DNA selector (N only) and the remote start from key fob. So those items are not causes of the CEL, but designed side effects from it being on. You have to read the code to see why the CEL was triggered. The dealer will then fix it for free.
Oct 27, 2016 · Heater blower on Giulietta. Anyone had any issues with the heater blower not working. the heater blower on my 2011 2.0 Veloce has given up. Ive checked fuses but cant find one connected (everyone is ok in any case). at the same time the light above the Start/Stop switch, on the dash board, next to fog light switches etc will not switch off.

Sep 21, 2018 · Placing the key fob inside the center console, on the bottom, on top of the image of the fob, will allow the car to start even if the battery inside the fob has discharged. It uses a radio frequency method to identify the fob. This process will NOT recharge the battery in the fob. The battery in the fob is a 3V battery.

So you need to get into the Menu somehow. Remove any USB stick as the blue&me might be digging a hole for itself after the battery was reconnected.

During recalibration, the auto start/stop will be disabled, as the IBS does not have vallid data. They are correct about the battery being the cause of the stop start not working, and also that the correct type of battery must be used, usually a AGM Battery (Absorbent Glass Mat) And yes they are expensive, but not $700 !!

If you want yours to work you must use a AGM battery, mine had a new battery fitted when I picked it up from the dealer and the stop/start never worked. After reading posts on the Alfa forum

Feb 24, 2016 · Well, it's easy enough to do it just by turning the temperature knob to the coldest setting so it displays "LOW" on the dial and then just adjusting the fan speed by using the middle knob.
